Operation Worship Bible - Take The Challenge

Last year, stores within The Association for Christian Retail accepted the challenge of sending 100,000 Bibles in 100 days to men and women in uniform. The goal was reached threefold, and this year, the goal is 500,000 Bibles by Dec. 31. Just like last year, you can write a personal message to one of the members of our military on the inside cover of the Bible and then return to a LifeWay Christian Store to be sent. But unlike last year, there is a Bible for each branch of the armed forces, so you can choose which branch to send it to.

Honoring and Remembering Our Heroes Memorial Day is a day to honor and remember those who have served our country.  Some of whom did not make it back home. We cannot put into words how much their sacrifice means to us and they will always be remembered as heroes in our hearts. We will always mourn those we lost, but know we can find comfort in God. Let him know your sorrows and He will bring you peace.  We still have men and women serving us today and a great way to show appreciation is to send care packages with food, books, toiletries, etc. A great addition to any care package is American Hero Tea.  Not only are you giving them a delicious tea to enjoy, but showing them that they are heroes in our hearts.

In Greek “put up with” most likely means to patiently provide for people’s needs despite an ungrateful response.
